With his 18 years of ICT experience, Aram Smith is a dedicated (Microsoft) Infrastructure Architect. Aram has been acting in different roles; he has been a Lead Architect responsible for architecting, designing and implementation of large infrastructure designs, but also responsible for Quality Assurance of the design and project phases, in some occasions performed the role as project manager. Aram has performed projects with large customers such as Agility, ING, ABN AMRO, SNS Reaal Group, TPG, and Royal Vopak, but also projects with and for Microsoft, such as the Quickstart/Quickplan Security Portfolio.
His specialty is Infrastructure Architecture with frameworks such as the Microsoft Reference Architecture (WSSRA) and Enterprise frameworks such as The Opengroup Architecture Forum (TOGAF).Aram is also specialized in Architecture and designing Virtual Infrastructures with Hyper-V and VMware, Active Directory infrastructures, message and collaboration solutions, Systems Management, Server Based Computing, and also a strong focus on (infrastructure) security with technologies as Identity & Access Management and Public Key Infrastructures.
It is his ambition to become an Enterprise Architect.
Today Aram performs the role of Architect Director at Director level within Avanade.
